Cremona, Lombardy Region awards 32 new historic businesses: Guidesi "We recognize those who embody the strength of our land."
The identifying mark was awarded to businesses that have been in business for at least 40 years. Councilor Guidesi: "This recognition goes to those who have been able to endure and innovate over time, contributing to Lombardy's economic vitality."

Lombardy Region continues the tour to enhance the Historical activities with a new stage in Cremonawhere have they been 32 companies awarded who have obtained the regional identification mark intended for shops, venues, and artisan workshops that have been operating continuously for at least 40 years.
The initiative, promoted byRegional Councillor for Economic Development Guido Guidesi, is part of the travelling program for the recognition of activities that represent an economic, social and cultural heritage of the Lombardy region.

The ceremony took place at the Chamber of Commerce of Cremona, in the presence of Guidesi himself and of the Gian Domenico Auricchio, president of Unioncamere Lombardia and of the Chamber of Commerce of Cremona, Mantua and Pavia.
For fourth consecutive year, the awards are presented through a tour that touches all the Lombard provinces, in collaboration with the Chambers of Commerce, to pay homage directly in the territory to the entities that have been able to resist market changes e transmit the value of entrepreneurial tradition.
“The brand – declared the councilor Guido Guidesi - It represents the Lombardy Region's thanks to those who embody the soul and strength of our land. These businesses, often family-run, offer quality services, jobs, and identity to local communities. If Lombardy is an economic and social leader, it also owes it to those who have been able to renew themselves over the decades, keeping their passion and professionalism alive."

I am currently 4.477 historical activities recognized in Lombardy, Of which 371 in the province of Cremona.
Among new activities recognized in 2025, they appear 9 historic artisan workshops, 13 historic venues and 10 historic shops, distributed in various municipalities of the province including Cremona, Crema, Casalmaggiore, Soncino, Soresina and Castelverde.
The recognition is added to the "Historic companies towards the future" call for proposals, promoted by the Lombardy Region in collaboration with Unioncamere Lombardia, which supports companies registered in the register with non-repayable grants up to 50% of investments in innovation, generational change, redevelopment of premises and restoration.
For the territory of Cremona, in 2024 the call financed 24 companies for a total of 347.439 euros.
"Behind these historic signs," Guidesi added, "are people and families who have survived generations, overcoming hardship and helping build Lombardy's economic credibility. They are the heart of our communities."
