Crema: violence and threats against partner for over a year, restraining order issued against ex

La evening of January 23th the Carabinieri of the Crema Station have a man with a criminal record was subjected to the precautionary measure of prohibiting him from approaching the injured party, with the application of an electronic bracelet, issued by the Court of Cremona to protect the ex-partner who, for almost a year, suffered mistreatment and, on several occasions, even personal injuries.

The precautionary measure was issued following the events reported to the Carabinieri of Crema a few days ago following the last attack for which the Carabinieri of Crema had to intervene, at the culmination of a very long series of mistreatments to which the woman had been subjected for about a year.

The victim, from the beginning of their cohabitation, was the target of the man who, with systematic bullying, insulted her, threatened her even using knives, and used physical violence that, on several occasions, had caused her personal injuries. Until a few days ago when, following the umpteenth attack, she had asked for the intervention of the Carabinieri of Crema to whom she had expressed her fears because the man was increasingly violent and living within the domestic walls had become impossible. And she had decided to end their cohabitation.

So, the military had received the complaint and had started the investigations, finding confirmation of what was reported also through photos that the victim had injuries that had been caused to her over time. The Carabinieri had immediately informed the Judicial Authority that, having assessed the alarming continuity of the harassment carried out and the significant danger due to the inability to contain the reactions, issued the precautionary measure, imposing on the man not to approach any places frequented by the victim and not to communicate with her in any way, also applying the electronic braceletThe measure was notified immediately by the Carabinieri of the Crema Station.
