Crema: Violates the prohibition on approaching his ex-partner. 63-year-old arrested by the Carabinieri

Il 20st January i Carabinieri of the Crema station they had notified the man of the enforcement order precautionary measure issued by the Court of Cremona to protect the ex-partner which he had suffered before the mistreatment and, once the woman had decided to end the relationship, harassment.

The precautionary measure was issued following the facts reported to the Carabinieri of Crema some months ago, following a series of abuses to which the woman had been subjected submitted in 2023, for several months, when she had been abused and threatened almost daily.

In September 2023 the woman had broke off the relationship, but theman had not resigned himself and had started sending them dozens of messages every day, had followed her to work, had positioned himself under the victim's house or in other places where she was, to check if she had other relationships, forcing the woman to ask the Carabinieri for intervention several times.

After the complaint theJudicial authority, taking into account the continuity of the facts, had issued the precautionary measure to protect thephysical safety of the victim, imposing on the 63 year old not to go near the places she frequents.

But all this was not enough to stop him and on the night of 1 February he was arrested for violating the ban.

Shortly after 05.30 am, the Crema Station patrol, while passing by the victim's home to check that the woman was not being harassed, noticed the 63-year-old's car passing by.

The military has followed the vehicle, stopping him shortly after and identifying the man. At that point, they accompanied him to the Crema barracks and declared him under arrest for violating the precautionary measure.

On the morning of February 1st the Judge, at the end of the hearing, validated the arrest and postponed the decision to next February 10th. The man was released.
