Crema: 52-year-old reported for receiving stolen car

The Carabinieri of the Operational and Radiomobile Nucleus of Crema have A 52-year-old man with a criminal record was reported for receiving stolen goods. On January 20th a local man he had reported that his car had been stolen from a parking lot. The man had left it open and with the keys inside that someone had found, taking the vehicle away. The stolen car was identified by the Carabinieri near the Castelleone train station. Subsequent investigations also through the viewing of the cameras they made it possible to ascertain that the vehicle had been left shortly before by a man, immediately identified as the 52-year-old because he was well known for other criminal offences, who had taken a train to Crema.

The man was searched in the town of Crema and was stopped in the parking lot of a supermarket and identified. The 52-year-old was searched and a car key of the same make as the stolen vehicle was found in his pocket. At that point, the man confirmed that it was the key to the stolen car and that he had parked it that morning near the Castelleone station. The military accompanied him to the place where the vehicle was located and verified that it was the key to that car. For this reason he was reported for receiving stolen goods, while the vehicle was immediately returned to its owner.
