On 6 April the Heritage Councilor Vito Lacoppola spoke at the inauguration of a confiscated property in via Buccari 133, assigned as a concession to the association Penelope Puglia odv following the public notice for the assignment of the properties confiscated from organized crime owned by the Municipality of Bari published in February last year. On 11 goods subject of the tender, eight I am in award and delivery phase to as many social realities of the city.

We hope so to have also symbolically helped this reality to be more easily traceable by those who need it.
The activity we carry out throughassignment of confiscated assets to criminals it is, in our opinion, extremely important both from the point of view of the reuse of real estate assets and in the consolidation of socio-cultural path of legality. Demonstrating to citizens that institutions can confiscate, and therefore steal, assets from the mafias to make them available to the community represents a message of authoritativeness and presence of the State on the territory".
"THEPenelope Puglia association from beyond 15 years deals with missing persons – declared the president Annalisa Loconsole -. For us it is a significant result, because one physical location can become a landmark for many people struggling with this type of problem, who will be able to meet here to share the absence of their relative as well as receive qualified, psychological and legal support.
We will use it for plan searches for missing persons and to carry out the other activities, some of which experimental, as in the case of FOLLOW ME project which, thanks to the agreement with the Municipality of Bari allows us to equip the elderly who suffer from neurodegenerative diseases of a device geolocation to locate its location. We will also be launching a soon project which is particularly close to our hearts, dedicated to prevention of the disappearance of minors".
Please remember that the concession in use, by title Loano train station, real estate is scheduled for a period of not less than 6 years, renewable up to a maximum of 19 years.
