Mascalucia: Drug dealing on board the car, 24-year-old reported

The prevention and repression of drug dealing crimes carried out by the Catania military continues incessantly, aimed at countering one of the major sources of supply for organised crime.
In this context, the Carabinieri of the Operational Section of Gravina di Catania they reported a 24-year-old pusher, of foreign origin, resident in Nicolosi, for possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing.

In particular, the attention of the soldiers, who were travelling along a peripheral road of Mascalucia, was drawn by a young man who, sitting inside a white Opel small car, parked on the roadside facing the opposite direction to theirs, he looked around as if he was waiting for someone.

Suspicious, the Carabinieri decided to observe "his moves" from a distance and in a hidden position, so as not to be seen and, after less than a minute, they spotted a gray SUV driven by a woman who approached him. Without even getting out of the vehicle, the woman handed a small envelope to the Opel driver who, in exchange, gave her a banknote and then walked away.

At that point, the investigators, now certain that they were dealing drugs, decided to take action. The patrol acted promptly, blocking the car with a quick maneuver and taking the driver completely by surprise. Caught off guard by the speed and precision of the action, she did not have time to react, finding herself immediately blocked by the military.

The search was triggered, therefore, the Carabinieri found, well hidden inside the car, a dose of crack and a precision scale. Continuing the checks, the crew also found, cleverly hidden in the driver's bag, a dose of cocaine. The young woman pusher it was therefore reported to the Judicial Authority, while the drugs were seized.
