Guardia Mangano: he hid drugs in Enel containers, arrested by the Carabinieri.

Preventive activity against crime phenomena and maximum effectiveness in contrasting drug dealing, these are the operational inputs that led the Carabinieri of the Guardia Mangano Station to the arrest in flagrante of a 29-year-old local offender, responsible for possession of narcotic substances for the purpose of dealing.
For a few days, the military personnel of the local station had been keeping an eye on a face known to them for his previous legal affairs, having sensed that he had reorganized himself to deal drugs.

The Carabinieri, therefore, organized a service to observe him from a distance and in a "discreet" manner and the other evening they caught him just as he was stocking up on drugs.
In particular, the military followed him while, on board a Fiat Punto, he was travelling along the road that leads from Acireale to Guardia Mangano, the hamlet where the young man lives.

Here, they saw him park near his house but, once he got out, the boy did not return home, but continued walking for another 50 meters or so, arriving at the intersection between Via Nazionale and Via Belvedere.
Cautiously, the 29-year-old therefore approached a disused Enel column, opened it and, after taking something, hid it in his pocket, at that point starting again towards his home.
The Carabinieri intervened right in front of the entrance door of the building, blocking him and recovering what he had in his pockets: 2 grams of marijuana.

In addition to this, however, the boy evidently had with him another 5 grams or so of marijuana which, during the check, he dropped on the ground in order to evade the search by the Carabinieri, who, however, noticed the suspicious gesture and recovered the narcotic.
Together with him, the investigators entered his residence where, in the kitchen, they found in an ashtray 2 doses of cocaine weighing more than 0,50 grams while, on the table, a small bag with other 2,25 grams of cocaine.

Along with the drugs there were also precision scales and €100.
The pusher was therefore placed at the disposal of the Judicial Authority, which validated his arrest, applying the precautionary measure of house arrest with an electronic control device.
