Catania: “San Leone” neighborhood, another drug dealer in the Carabinieri network.

The Carabinieri's fight against drug dealing never stops, as the 32-year-old, a criminal from Catania, who was arrested red-handed by the military of the Catania Nesima Station, responsible for possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing, knows something about.

In particular, during a targeted control operation in the “San Leone” neighborhood, the Carabinieri once again demonstrated their high level of professionalism and operational capacity, planning a strategy to surprise a pusher in action.
Thanks to an information-investigative activity, in fact, the investigators traced the young man, who lived in a building near Corso Indipendenza, and, therefore, they arranged for observation services in "discreet mode" to study his moves.

The service allowed us to ascertain how the 32-year-old was dealing drugs in the landing of his house, taking the drugs from a closet located between the entrance door and the elevator.
At this point, the investigators organized themselves into two teams and, while a first team positioned themselves outside the suspect home, staying on the street to carefully monitor the entrance and windows and prevent any attempt to eliminate evidence, the other team reached the floor above the one where the drug dealing was taking place.

This organization in two teams allowed to act with maximum efficiency and when, around 17:00 pm, two buyers were seen ringing the intercom of the pusher's house, the soldiers positioned outside started the blitz, alerting those hidden in the stairs. The pusher was thus blocked and made safe just as he was taking the drugs, so the Carabinieri also entered his home to search it.

Already at the entrance, the investigators recovered €700,00, divided into €5, €10 and €20 notes, and also a €200 note.
Then, in the room used as a laundry, inside the detergent drawer of a non-working washing machine, the military found 2 bags full of cocaine, for a total weight of 10 grams, and one of crack of approximately 4 grams.
The operation ended with the arrest of the 32-year-old, validated by the Judicial Authority, and the seizure of the narcotic substance and the money found.
