Frignano: €80 worth of batteries stolen, 53-year-old reported
The 596 stolen car and heavy vehicle batteries found by the Carabinieri in a warehouse in Frignano (CE) were still stacked up on pallets. When the military personnel from the local station entered the warehouse they immediately suspected they were dealing with stolen goods. The batteries, of various amperages, positioned by type on 25 platforms, were still packaged as they had been stolen. on the weekend between January 18th and 20th, in Monterubbiano, province of Fermo, at a FIB SPA company warehouse. In that circumstance, the criminals forced the lock at the entrance to the warehouse of the aforementioned company and, using the pallet truck present there, loaded the pallets of batteries onto trucks, moving away and disappearing without a trace.
The batteries found, whose commercial value is around €80.000,00, will be returned to the rightful owner. The 53-year-old of Castel Volturno, tenant of the warehouse, he was reported at liberty for receiving stolen goods.
