Casal di Principe: 34-year-old arrested for dealing hashish and cocaine

The 34-year-old was arrested by the Carabinieri for possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing of Casal di Principe blocked in via Circumvallazione of that center, in possession of hashish and cocaine, ready for the packaging of at least 45 doses, and two precision scales. While driving along Via Circumvallazione in the municipality of Casal di Principe, the military intercepted the 34-year-old, already known to the police, while, driving an orange Fiat Panda, he entered the forecourt of the petrol station located there at high speed.

Following the dangerous maneuver, which they had just witnessed, the Carabinieri immediately activated the lights and sound devices of the service car and ordered the man to stop. As soon as the soldiers approached the door of the Panda to proceed with the identification, the 34 year old, in order to avoid further checks, immediately spontaneously handed over a dose of hashish in his possession, declaring that he had nothing else to hide.

Suspicious of his behavior, the Carabinieri immediately carried out a personal and vehicle search, finding, in the left pocket of the tracksuit he was wearing,, a heat-sealed cellophane wrapper containing cocaine. Further doses of hashish, instead, were found hidden inside one of his socks and inside a packet of tissues placed on the dashboard of the car.

The man was also found in possession of two precision electronic scales and 30 euros in cash, divided into banknotes of various denominations, believed to be the proceeds of the illicit activity. The drugs found, as well as the precision scales and the money, were subjected to seizure. The 34-year-old arrested, after the ritual formalities, he was taken to house arrest at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
