Mondragone (Caserta), a fight between drunken immigrants ends in stabbings. Reported by the Carabinieri for personal injury
Two people were injured in a fight that took place yesterday evening near a supermarket in Mondragone between three drunk immigrants. A Tunisian citizen and another who has not yet been fully identified were transported to the Pineta Grande clinic in Castel Volturno with stab wounds. A third non-EU citizen is said to have escaped after the stabbing and is therefore actively sought by the military.
The two injured, currently hospitalized in that hospital, are still in a reserved prognosis, but not in danger of life.
The reasons behind the argument, which then led to a stabbing, are not yet known. According to the reconstruction by the Carabinieri, the fight initially broke out between two non-EU citizens, who were later joined by a third.
It is not yet clear whether the three stabbed each other or whether one of the three stabbed the other two.
At the scene of the argument, among the various empty bottles of beer and wine, the carabinieri found and seized two blood-soaked jackets and a few metres away a 12cm long knife blade and a short distance away the relative handle.
The Carabinieri of the Mondragone Territorial Department are investigating to fully identify all three perpetrators and to define their responsibilities in relation to the event.
