The man, already known for weapons crimes, was stopped by the Carabinieri and subjected to a search. Weapons, knives and counterfeit banknotes were found in his home.

The discovery took place this morning in a house in grazzanise, where i Carabinieri of the Company of Santa Maria Capua Vetere and the local station have carried out a house search, arresting a 59-year-old from the place for illegal possession of weapons and ammunition.
They were the 07:00 this morning, February 17th, when the man was noticed by the Carabinieri driving a Fiat Idea on Via Cesare Battisti. Since he was already known for weapons crimes, the military decided to follow him for a check. Stopped near his home, the 59-year-old showed himself annoyed and nervous, prompting officers to believe he might be hiding something illegal.
Following the personal, vehicle and home search, have been found weapons and ammunition inside the house:
- An 8 caliber pistol, Bruni brand, model 315, with a modified barrel, complete of 5 6,35 gauge cartridges e 5 cartridges caliber 9mm short (spontaneously handed over by the man before the search);
- An unbranded, fully functional 6,35 caliber pistol, found in her bedroom thanks to the Sarno canine unit;
- A Bruni brand blank pistol, caliber 8, with a red cap, found in the kitchen cabinet;
- A 9mm magazine;
- A 41cm handcrafted dagger with a 24cm blade;
- Two folding knives (one 24,5 cm with 13 cm blade and the other 21 cm with 9 cm blade);
- Two counterfeit banknotes da 100 € and 50 €.
The man was arrested and placed under house arrest. Furthermore, it was reported for possession of counterfeit banknotes.
