Castel Volturno: 17-year-old reported for illegal possession of a gun

In the right Volturno hamlet of the Municipality of Castel Volturno (CE), the Carabinieri of the Territorial Department of Mondragone, supported by two SOS teams of the 10th Carabinieri Regiment "Campania", as part of a service aimed at finding weapons, they reported a 17-year-old local boy for possession of an illegal weapon. The young man, following a house search, was found in possession of a "glock 17" type pistol, presumably produced as a blank-firing weapon and later modified and converted into a firearm, suitable for exploding 9×21 caliber ammunition. The young man, being a minor, was entrusted to his mother.
