The Carabinieri of the Casal di Principe Company, in the Caserta area, were engaged in a coordinated territorial control service set up by that Command with the aim of preventing and repressing the commission of crimes against people and property.
The military paid particular attention to that city center and to the main communication arteries that connect it to neighboring municipalities.
The 10 patrols employed, for a total of 30 Carabinieri belonging to the local Station, the Operational and Radiomobile Nucleus and the departments located in the territory of competence, through targeted checkpoints carried out both in the town center and on the main roads accessing and exiting that municipality, proceeded to the identification of 200 people and the control of 97 vehicles.
The coordinated service, in addition to ensuring road safety, also through the issuing of 30 fines for violations of the current regulations in this area, has allowed five people to be reported, at liberty, who were held responsible for receiving stolen goods, as they were caught driving 3 scooters and a very valuable SUV, all of which were the subject of theft.
