Caserta, 4 minors responsible for the attempted murder of a peer stopped by the State Police
The State Police of Caserta has carried out, in recent days, an order issued by the investigating judge at the Juvenile Court of Naples, at the request of the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office, against three Italian minors seriously suspected of attempted murder, against another minor, of Egyptian nationality, which occurred last October in the city centre of Castel Volturno, in the locality of “Coppola village”.
The victim had been stabbed at least 12 times, requiring urgent surgery. at the emergency room of the Castel Volturno hospital, for the serious injuries he suffered to a lung and to the heart which had put his life in danger.
The activity of the police officers of the Castel Volturno Public Safety Police Station has allowed them to reconstruct the dynamics of the event, thanks to the analysis of video surveillance images, the collection of testimonies and photographic recognitions. In particular, a group of minors, without any apparent reason, allegedly targeted peers of non-EU origin, violently attacking them, up to the attempted murder of one of the victims.
The subsequent investigations by the Police Station have allowed the Public Prosecutor's Office to proceed, in the last few hours, with the arrest of a fourth minor, accused of having participated in the wounding of the victim. The young man, after the ritual formalities, was associated with the First Reception Center of Colli Aminei in Naples, awaiting validation of the measure.
Further investigations are underway to identify all the youths involved in the attack.
