Visit to the Palazzo in the city of Catanzaro by the baby mayor and the baby council of the IC “DeNobili-Sala”
Mayor Nicola Fiorita received, this morning at Palazzo De Nobili, the baby council of the “De Nobili – Sala” comprehensive institute, led by the baby mayor, Michelle Longo. The institute's representation was accompanied by Professor Livia Perri.
As usually happens in these circumstances, the mayor explained to the children the formal and substantial steps through which the Administration, in all its aspects, carries out its tasks and takes its decisions, both political and administrative. In particular, Fiorita he illustrated the numerous interventions being carried out and intended for school structures under municipal jurisdiction, underlining how this represents one of the commitments that are closest to the city government's heart. The mayor subsequently also acted as Cicero, “telling” the town hall to young guests and guiding them on a visit to the most significant environments.
The De Nobili delegation then reached the “Politeama – Mario Foglietti” theater, accompanied by the president of the municipal council Gianmichele Bosco and the historian Salvatore Bullotta, member of the Cabinet Office. It was the latter, together with the technical manager Nicola Santopolo, who told the story of the city theater and explained the project with all the symbols contained therein.
The historic library “De Nobili” was the last stop of the visit that the children and their teacher made to the Municipality. In this case, Nunzio Belcaro, councilor for public education, acted as a guide through one of the most important cultural centers in the city.
