Crotone, the short film “Kalavria” presented
Crotone, sThere are three protagonists of the short film Kakavria written by Emmanuele Saccà and directed by Marco Morganti, presented last night at the Olimpia Dance School: Magna Graecia, ancient Kalavria and modern Calabria. And the link between past, present and future is the common thread that remains the leitmotif of the short film, seven minutes and fourteen seconds of authentic emotion told with passion and love for their land. With the creator and screenwriter Emmanuele Saccà, two of the protagonists Roberto Papalia and Maria Melissari were present.
An evening promoted by the Municipality of Crotone, by the Mutamenti cultural association, by the Jobel Consortium, by the Kiwanis Club of Cirò Marina, by the Kiwanis Club of Palmi and by the Olimpia Dance School. The evening was opened by the performances of the students of the Olimpia School who embellished the evening with theirs ancient dances which recall the glories and traditions of Kroton. After the interventions of Rossella Crugliano of the Olimpia School, by Antonio Francesco Amodeo, president of the Kiwanis Club of Cirò Marina, Patrizia Pagliuso president of the Mutamenti association and Giuseppe Nicoletti official of the Superintendencenza Archaeological Fine Arts and Landscape of Catanzaro – Crotone the screening of the short film.
Film he already had numerous awards including a review on the prestigious Wall Street International Magazine” edited by Micaela Cuccaro, an excerpt of the article was read by the students of Margherita's school, and is in competition for the next David di Donatello in the short film category. From the words of Emmanuele Saccà emerged all the passion and love with which the film production was carried out which saw everyone involved from the director to the actors with the sole intention of tell about a beautiful Calabria who intends to redeem himself through the glories of his past. And there was no lack of a specific reference to Crotone: "the world could decide to forget about Crotone, the history books would loudly claim the beauty and splendor of this city" said Emmanuele Saccà. "It's It's important that we Calabrians begin to tell our story to the outside world, to propose a Calabria that wants to assert his identity.
