Catanzaro, auction of the former Orso cinema
The heritage commission underlines the importance of the result and the great work carried out by Ursino
Catanzaro, “the auctioning of the former Cinema Orso is a great result obtained from the municipal administration led by Sergio Abramo”. This is what was underlined during the meeting of the Heritage Commission, chaired by Giuseppe Pisano, by all the councilors present. “In just over four years the Municipality – it was highlighted – has carried out a fundamental work putting an end to a long and ugly page of degradation."
The members of the commission they publicly thanked their colleague Ursino (also present at the meeting) for "his constant and tenacious involvement in the matter: he followed her step by step ever since he became a councillor, he has been the mayor's right-hand man, taking part in meetings with the relevant municipal offices and with Soget". The councilors Altomare, Amendola, Angotti, Costa, Manuela and Sergio Costanzo, Levato, Mirarchi, Renda, Rotundo, Talarico, Ciciarello, Sestito and President Pisano himself added: "What is certified by the auctioning of the property is the testimony to the concreteness of his work and goodness of his work, done without proclamations and with extreme correctness".
The commission hoped that the auction, fixed the 26 April in the Soget headquarters in Taranto, can allow us to identify a buyer for the property and proceed, in this way, to open a new page for a place that had an important value for the Lido district, but "which absolutely can no longer remain in the conditions, dangerous for hygiene and safety public, in which it is now"
