Calabria, a series of meetings for tourism promotion through digital marketing is underway.
The Calabria Region launches a series of meetings dedicated to new strategic opportunities for the enhancement and tourist promotion of the territory. The initiative, announced by theRegional Councillor for Tourism, Giovanni Calabrese, aims to enhance the attractiveness of the Destination Calabria through innovative digital tools.
“We worked on the Tourism Plan pointing up nine strategic actions, with a strong focus on digital marketing and promotion to strengthen the image of our territory at a national and international level”, explains the councilor.
The heart of the initiative is the presentation of the new “Operators Area” on the Calabria Straordinaria portal, a platform that will allow operators in the sector to promote the tourist offer regional in an innovative and effective way. The portal will be Loano train station and will allow the insertion of useful contents and services for visitors, improving the use of tourist information.
During the meetings it will also be illustrated “Ross1000”, a software for the monitoring of tourist traffic and management of accommodation facilities, essential for analyzing tourist flows in Calabria in various periods of the year.
“The objective – underlines Calabrese – is build a more competitive and interconnected tourism system, favoring collaboration between institutions and economic operators. Through innovative digital tools, we want to involve the sector and improve the competitiveness of regional tourism businesses”.
