At the end of the Judicial Police proceedings, MV was declared under arrest for the crimes of violence and resistance to a Public Official, damage and refusal of personal details.

On the morning of December 5th, a call arrived at the Police Headquarters Operations Centre, via the emergency number “112 NUE”, for a report of a drunken troublemaker who was bothering and provoking the owner and customers of a bar which is located in the capital, in via Laurin.
The crews of the State Police “Flying Squad”, who arrived in a few moments at the reported location, noticed a man who was arguing animatedly outside the Bar with the Municipal Police Staff.
Noticing the arrival of the "Volante", suddenly and without any reason the troublemaker began to attack the crew, hitting the fender of the service car with a fist, damaging it.
Even towards the police, the individual, in obvious state of intoxication, continued in his defiant attitude, at first offending them by shouting vulgar and threatening phrases at them, Then refusing to be identified and finally, once an identity card of the Republic of Moldova has been delivered, physically attacking them in an attempt to hit them with kicks and punches.
After having managed with difficulty to put him in a condition where he could not do any harm, the agents took him to the Police Headquarters; here, not satisfied with what he had staged up to that moment, the arrested man persisted in his threatening to kill them and damaging the company car, to the point of kicking and punching like crazy, injuring one of the Agents in the knee before being definitively neutralized.
At the office the man was then fully identified as MV, a 42 year old Moldovan citizen with a dependent numerous criminal and/or police records for crimes against the person and mistreatment in the family.
At the end of the judicial police proceedings, MV was arrested for the crimes of violence and resistance to a public official, damage and refusal of personal details, and then held in the Police Headquarters' holding rooms awaiting the direct trial.
The Police Chief of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano Paolo Sartori, therefore, in consideration of the disproportionate violence with which the individual attacked the Police Officers, the seriousness of what happened and the previous convictions against him, immediately urged the competent Territorial Commission for Refugees to order the revocation of international protection status granted to MV, in order to be able to issue a Expulsion Decree from the National Territory, which will become operational once the judicial process is concluded.
“Yet another attack on a Police Officer during an intervention, the umpteenth one, by now, that has occurred in recent times in Bolzano – the Police Commissioner Sartori –. It is unacceptable that those who represent the State, in enforcing the law, must systematically suffer insults and violence. For this reason it has been decided to proceed with the arrest and removal from our country of those who have repeatedly demonstrated, even violently, that they do not respect its Laws and Institutions”
