While waiting to be seen at the Emergency Room of the San Maurizio Hospital, such SS – 56 years old Tunisian citizen illegally residing in the national territory and guest of the COLD EMERGENCY CENTERS citizens, with criminal and/or police records for crimes such as illegal entry and residence in the territory of the State, acts contrary to public decency, refusal to provide information on one's personal details - tired of waiting one's turn, he had begun to behave in a harassing and provocative manner towards the healthcare staff and other patients who were also waiting to be seen.
At a certain point the man – who had been transported to the Emergency Room shortly after midnight due to his worrying state of alcoholic alteration – had gotten up from the stretcher, he had completely stripped in a deliberately exhibitionist manner and had started urinating on the floor, in the presence of about twenty people waiting to receive medical care, including women and children.
After momentarily collapsing on the stretcher due to his compromised state of psycho-physical alteration, SS got up in an attempt to repeat the previous "show", but was immediately blocked by the security personnel, and then handed over to the Agents of the State Police “Flying Squad”, who in the meantime had arrived at the Emergency Room to deal with the situation that had arisen.
After having ascertained what happened and having collected the testimonies of those present, The policemen took care of accompanying the SS to the police headquarters, where, at the end of the Judicial Police actions, was reported to the Public Prosecutor's Office for the crime of obscene acts in a public place. In consideration of the seriousness of what happened and the precedents against him, the Police Commissioner of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano Paolo Sartori has an expulsion order was issued against the man, with a simultaneous order to leave the national territory.
"The presence of the State Police within the major hospital facilities in the country represents one of the priorities in prevention activities and to ascertain the crimes that our Institution systematically carries out, in close synergy with the health authorities – highlighted the Police Commissioner Sartori -. In this case, this close collaboration allowed the Police Officers to intervene promptly to prevent an event involving a patient in a highly agitated state from further degenerating, generating a fair amount of critical issues in the normal activities of the Emergency Room and apprehension in other patients".
