Bolzano, stopped in the city on a stolen car and with burglary tools. State Police arrests a criminal illegal foreigner

At approximately 3.30 am on Saturday, the Agents of the “Flying Squad” of the State Police, during the usual patrolling of the streets of the historic centre, spotted a car in Via Cesare Battisti that was driving around suspiciously, at high speed.

The Patrol, therefore, decided to stop it for a more in-depth check; in this context, from an initial check at the Database of the Ministry of the Interior the Police were able to ascertain that the vehicle - a Ford Fiesta - had been stolen the previous day in the Municipality of Appiano sulla Strada del Vino.
On board the car there were two Albanian citizens: the driver of the car was identified as DD, a 48-year-old with numerous criminal and/or police records for property crimes, while at his side was a 40-year-old EB, his fellow countryman who had recently arrived in Italy from Albania.
Furthermore, it emerged that DD had already been expelled from Italy last April by the Public Security Authorities of Brindisi and escorted to Tirana, with a ban on re-entering our country for 5 years.

The inspection carried out on the Ford Fiesta revealed numerous tools suitable for burglary, such as a drill, a hammer drill, a tube of special glue, latex gloves and more.
After being accompanied to the offices in Largo Palatucci to carry out more in-depth investigations, at the end of the Judicial Police proceedings DD was arrested for having illegally returned to Italy despite his expulsion, while both subjects were reported to the Public Prosecutor's Office for the crimes of receiving stolen goods (a stolen car) and for unjustified possession of burglary tools.

The Police Chief of the Province of Bolzano Paolo Sartori, therefore, in consideration of the gravity of what happened, has an Expulsion Decree was issued against DD, with a simultaneous, immediate Order to Remove Him from the National Territory.

The Police Chief has taken a similar measure against EB: he now has 7 days to leave our country: otherwise he will be forcibly escorted to Albania.
