Over the weekend, the Operations Center of the Bolzano Police Headquarters, through emergency number 112 NUE, received a request for intervention for a improper robbery in progress at the supermarket “IperPoli” in via Galvani.

- crews of the Flying Squad of the State Police, who arrived on the scene within a few minutes, identified and blocked one of the two responsible, CM, 37 year old from Bolzano with criminal record, still engaged in a heated discussion with the supermarket manager.

In the meantime, some passers-by reported to the officers another woman, dressed in red, who was trying to quickly move away. Stopped and identified, she turned out to be CCA, 20 year old from Bolzano, daughter of CM.

From attempted escape to assault on employees

Subsequent investigations revealed that mother and daughter had stolen numerous food products for a value of several hundreds of euros, going past the cash registers without paying. The theft was noticed by some citizens, who notified the employees and the manager of the supermarket.

The arrest and security measures

Thanks to the immediate intervention of the State Police, mother and daughter were blocked and accompanied to the police station. During the search, CM was found in possession of two wire cutters, further worsening his position.

The two women were declared Arrested for robbery in competition and held at the Police Headquarters Security Rooms, available to Prosecutor's Office.

Il Police Chief of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, Paolo Sartori, has also issued against them the Personal Prevention Measure of the Oral Notice of Public Safety, provided for by the Code of Anti-Mafia Laws.
