Bolzano, breaks down the door of the house, stalks and injures with kicks and punches his ex-partner. The State Police arrests the 31-year-old attacker
Unfortunately, there is no sign of decreasing the requests for help following which the Police Forces are called to intervene urgently to deal with situations of domestic violence.
In this case, a patrol of the State Police "Flying Squad" was urgently sent to a house in the Don Bosco neighborhood because a man had been reported who had violently entered the house of his ex-partner.
The Agents intervened immediately at the reported location and, after having identified the victim's home, they were able to find that the door had been practically torn down and had its hinges torn off, while inside there was a man who, with shouts and threats, was violently attacking his ex-partner despite the fact that there were two other women shielding her, trying to defend her.
At this point, the police officers had difficulty stopping the attack, first by blocking the man and moving him away from the apartment, and then by saving the victim.
Once taken to the police headquarters, the troublemaker was identified by a 31 year old foreign offender, resident in Piedmont, so the Agents were able to reconstruct what had happened shortly before thanks to the story told by the victim inside the protected room set up in the offices of the Flying Squad. The victim, assisted by specialized personnel of the State Police, in this context reported in detail the last five nightmare years lived with the man from whom she had separated a few days before.
The victim, who had bruises on his face caused by the attack with kicks and punches he had suffered shortly before, in addition to reporting other physical violence suffered by her ex-partner, she described the last days in which, after having interrupted the cohabitation, the man had started to stalk her with continuous messages and calls, even through a third party, with the aim of convincing her to move back in together.
The woman, terrified of what could happen, invited some friends to her house, who were fortunately present at the moment when the 31-year-old attacker, after having found a way to have another resident open the front door of the building, and when the woman refused to welcome him into her home, had devastated the front door and part of the apartment.
At the end of the judicial police proceedings, the violent aggressor, in consideration of the seriousness and violence of what happened as well as the previous convictions against him, he was arrested for the crime of mistreatment in the family and damage
For the same reasons, the Police Chief of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano Paolo Sartori has issued against this person the personal preventive measures of a Warning and a Mandatory Exit Notice, with a ban on returning to the Municipality of Bolzano for the next three years.
"There is no sign of decreasing the number of cases in which the Police Forces are called to intervene to deal with violent episodes of mistreatment in the family, which in themselves represent, among other things, worrying manifestations of cultural problems, which too often affect victims who are unable to defend themselves. – highlighted Commissioner Sartori – This episode also further reinforces the idea of how the critical situations that afflict our society must necessarily be addressed by networking between Institutions, Local Authorities, Anti-Violence Centers and Volunteer Associations. The State Police has always been at the forefront, also with specific Projects, in indicating paths of awareness and consciousness of the disvalue of what has been committed, with the aim, also, of helping victims to defend themselves, to ask for help and to report the violence suffered".
