Bolzano: 3 Georgian citizens arrested, caught with false identity documents from EU countries. The Police Chief issues a Decree of Expulsion from the National Territory

On the day of 24st January, Bolzano State Police Mobile Squad, within the scope of the operation that developed in various cities in Northern Italy and coordinated by the counterpart Udine Police Headquarters Office and Prosecutor's Office of that city, has carried out 3 searches delegated to as many Georgian women found in possession of identity documents from European Union countries, in particular Slovakia, through which they obtained the release of the relevant community tax code which allowed them, in the immediate future, to access the world of work as carers and enjoy legal, fiscal and health benefits, bypassing the rules that regulate the entry and stay in the national territory of non-EU citizens.

The three women were arrested by the agents of the Bolzano Flying Squad in flagrante delicto referred to in art. 497-bis CP “Possession and manufacture of false identification documents”Ei all documents seized and placed at the disposal of the competent judicial authority.

Il Police Commissioner of the Province of Bolzano Paolo Sartori, therefore, in consideration of what has emerged and the clandestine status of those arrested, has issued a warrant against them Expulsion Decree from the National Territory, which will become operational once they are released from prison.
