Bolzano: Threatens a Man with a Knife, State Police Stops and Reports a Foreigner with a Criminal Record.

During the usual patrolling of the central areas of the City, further increased on the occasion of the large influx of tourists for the Christmas Markets, in Piazza Verdi a patrol of the "Flying" Squad of the State Police noticed a foreign citizen who, at the sight of the Police car, with a nervous attitude suddenly changed direction with the intent of moving away from the Square and thus evading the controls.
The officers, however, became suspicious of the man's behavior and decided to follow him and then stop him and subject him to a check.
During the inspection of the documents in the possession of the arrested individual, another foreign citizen ran towards the police to inform them that the arrested man had just gotten rid of a large knife with which he had threatened him shortly before.
The detainee was accompanied to the Police Headquarters and fully identified as HAK, a 34-year-old Somali citizen with several criminal and/or police records for various crimes, legally resident in the country as a holder of political asylum status.

Furthermore, the Agents, thanks to the information provided by the victim of threats, actually found and seized, hidden behind some dumpsters, a knife 40 cm long, of which 25 cm was blade.
At the end of the Judicial Police proceedings, HAK was reported to the Public Prosecutor's Office of Bolzano for the crimes of aggravated threats and possession of an object capable of causing offence.
The Police Chief of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, Paolo Sartori, therefore, in consideration of the seriousness of what happened and of the precedents against him, immediately urged the competent Territorial Commission for Refugees to order the revocation of the international protection status granted to AHK., in order to be able to issue against him an Expulsion Decree from the National Territory.
