In the evening of 10 February, following a report received by the “112 NUE”, 2 patrols of the "Flying" team of the State Police were sent by the Operations Centre of the Police Headquarters at the Supermarket “Poli Regina” of Corso Italia for a theft in progress.
Arriving on site in a few moments, the officers immediately gave assistance to a Carabiniere who, free from service, had provided assistance to 2 brave shop assistants who were still in the grip of panic: a few moments before, in fact, they had chased and attempted to stop an individual that he had tried to evade payment for miscellaneous goods taken from the shelves, and then pass by the cash registers without paying.

After taking the arrested person into custody, the "Flying Squad" took care of transporting him to the Offices of the Police Headquarters where it was fully identified for such GMH, 26 year old Afghan with multiple convictions for crimes of various nature and gravity, irregular in Italy and habitual guest of the "Cold Emergency Centers" citizens.
In the meantime, both the soldier and the supermarket clerks, all of whom were injured during the fight, were transported to the Emergency Department of the “San Maurizio” Hospital by the 118 staff for the necessary care.
At the end of the judicial police proceedings, GMH was declared in state of arrest for the crimes of robbery, violence and resistance to a public official and personal injury, and made available to the Public Prosecutor's Office.
The Police Chief of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano Paolo Sartori, therefore, in consideration of what happened, of the proven dangerousness demonstrated several times by the subject and its position as irregularities in our country, has issued a warrant against this person Expulsion Decree from the National Territory.
