During a anti-drug service intensified in the central streets of Bolzano, prepared by the Police Commissioner Giuseppe Ferrari on the occasion of the Christmas markets, staff of State Police and Guardia di Finanza reported a 20 year old Tunisian citizen, irregular on the territory of the State, for possession for the purpose of trafficking of narcotic substances.
The operation was triggered when thecanine unit of the Guardia di Finanza noticed a young man acting suspiciously near Verdi SquareAt the sight of the soldiers, the boy attempted to escape towards via Cappuccini, but was promptly blocked by the Flying Squad engaged in routine checks in the area. The personal search resulted in the discovery of:

a piece of hashish of 18 grams;

4 tablets of anxiolytics;

three packages containing approximately 5 grams of cocaine hidden in socks;

a blade with drug residue;
-
the sum of 455 euros, withheld proceeds of drug dealing.
The young man, with a police record, was reported for detention for the purposes of trafficking e carrying objects capable of causing offence. At the same time, theImmigration office has started the procedures for its expulsion from Italy.
