The municipal administration is renewing its support for young people who intend to play sports. In fact, the “Sport for all” project has been funded for the 2024/2025 school year, with 15.000 euros that will be allocated to scholarships in the form of a contribution to families for the sports practice of children aged between 6 and 17. “A commitment that has now become a tradition for our Administration – said the Mayor Marco Fioravanti – and which represents a clear signal to families. We want to give everyone the opportunity to access sports activities, which are a fundamental element in the age of physical and personal growth of future generations.".
Parents or guardians of children (belonging to the same ISEE family unit) who reside in the Municipality of Ascoli, are between 6 and 17 years old by 2025 and belong to families with an ISEE equal to or less than 12.000 euros can apply. (the value to be considered is that for the subsidized benefits aimed at minors). Furthermore, The boys must be registered with a club to take sports courses for the 2024/2025 sports year.
“We want to continue on the path we have been pursuing for some time – he explained the Sports Councillor, Nico Stallone – with the intention of enhance the sporting practice of our young people. In a particular moment for many families from an economic point of view, this help has already proven to be very important in the past and therefore we wanted to confirm it by committing 15.000 euros”.
The contribution, referred to each individual, is equal to 50% of the cost incurred for enrollment in courses held in the 2024/2025 sports year, up to a maximum amount of 150 euros per child and 400 euros per family. The contribution can be requested for a single sporting discipline or for multiple disciplines not practiced at the same time. The application must be submitted no later than June 30, 2025, according to the procedures established in the notice available on the institutional website.
