A Noir triangle on stage at the Teatro Il Martinitt.
The first comedy of the new year at the theater The Martinitt of Milano it catapults us into a hotel room – the only setting for stories with many scenarios and too many emotions. Within these walls, symbol of existence - one and yet always different and modifiable - a trio of exceptional actors moves with mastery. Between twists, paradoxes, role swaps and lots of laughter, it outlines an absurd yet all too plausible situation with strokes of pink-love, red-passion, grey-boredom but also a lot of yellow and noir. On stage until January 22nd, the show is also part of the special INVITATION TO THEATER subscription.
Sul palco two much loved aces of Milanese comedy: the Milanese by adoption Sergio Grilli in an unusual noir version and the Milanese one Corinna Grandi, also a well-known face of Zelig, who defines herself as "a hybrid between cabaret, stand-up and poetry". To complete the work, other Po Valley talents, already at home at Martinitt: from Veneto, Aristide Genovese, co-star, and Piergiorgio Piccoli, as director.
To go on stage is a love triangle, within whose angular perimeter anger, resentment, hatred and homicidal instinct mount. Positive and negative of the oldest feeling in the world are the secret ingredients of a lively comedy, full of twists and paradoxical situations in a crazy exchange of roles: the betrayed man who becomes the executioner, the lover who becomes the victim, the idol who risks his life. A continuous succession of hilarious scenes and changes of perspective, which invite you to reflect on your own sentimental bonds. Who among us can really bet on the person he shares his days with? Isn't the bet in itself already a risk? Are we sure we know the true nature of those around us? And can those who think they know us really feel (safe)? Who has never heard "the beast inside him" against the cheating friend, the suffocating spouse, the pain-in-the-ass relative, the rude neighbor, the tyrannical office manager, the arrogant politician or the idiotic motorist? Unfortunately, too often, the answer is given by the most recent news... But here luckily we are at the theater, in the comfort zone of fantasy and once again laughter reveals itself the cure for humanity's illsto. Irony and good humor remain the irreducible enemies of anger, capable of erasing any resentment...
