The Fuori in Scena del review continues Theater of the 3 Professions of Messina. The penultimate event on the billboard is with The Photo Of The Tourist, which will go on stage Thursday 11 August at 21.15 pm. The show was born from an idea of Vincenzo Volo, written by Giovanna Criscuolo, Directed by Federico Magnano San Lio and is manufactured by IN ART, cultural association of Serradifalco.

The protagonists of the play are the actors Vincenzo Volo e Giovanna Criscuolo who, starting from their already consolidated theatrical experience and comic affinity, give life with lightness and irony to a universe full of profound and current atmospheres.

La Foto del Turista is a one-act play for two actors, which happily combines comic design with an intense atmosphere. The situation is generated by an "accident" on the road and tells, with a funny and sometimes surreal writing, the story of two characters, a man and a woman, who talk but don't understand each other.

The protagonists, apparently unknown, come into conflict from the beginning, between comic jokes, discrepancies, deep bonds and twists.
Monica has vanished and forgetful but overwhelming, Giuseppe is patient and emotional but resolute, she wants to end it, he tries to save her: together they retrace their lives between Monica's moments of disconnection from reality and Giuseppe's tenderness, which he often puts into highlights his love for his family, to the point of confessing his wife's degenerative illness to the "unknown woman".

The show changes course when both protagonists find themselves, for just one moment, living in a coinciding space-time dimension, thanks to the memory of a photo taken by a tourist. Monica will recognize her husband, but only for a few moments before returning to the oblivion of her dementia. Giuseppe will only have to approach her, like every day, as if he were meeting her for the first time, in the hope that that moment in which his wife will call him by name will return, that moment of happiness in knowing that he is not for her. just a stranger.

Before the show, from 20 pm, it will be possible to visit the exhibition "Let's flourish again” by the Messina artist Marina D'Amico “Animar Arts” and an aperitif is also planned.
