Oppenheimer domina con 13 nomination, seguito da Povere creature! di Yorgos Lanthimos, che ottiene 11 candidature, e Killers of the Flower Moon (10 nomination). Barbie si piazza al quarto posto per numero di candidature ricevute (che sono 8), seguito dalla pellicola diretta e interpretata da Bradley Cooper su Leonard Bernstein, intitolata Maestro, che ottiene 7 nomination, e da The Holdovers (5 candidature). Nella categoria Miglior Film troviamo anche American Fiction, Anatomia di una caduta, Past Lives e La zona di interesse. Grande entusiasmo per il successo di  Io Capitano, candidato ufficiale dell’Italia al Miglior Film Internazionale dell’edizione 2024.
